PVC followed by racing

I had an interesting rythmn this morning after running up and down the stairs getting ready for work.  I had what I think was a PVC, followed by several rapid beats, then a few normal rate beats, and then the PVC followed by more racing beats.  This repeated about 5 times and then resumed normal rate.  I've had PVCs for many years, so they don't frighten me much anymore, and I've been diagnosed with tachycardia and take a beta blocker to lessen them.  But this seemed like a new symptom and what frightened me was the fact that it repeated several times as my heart rate dropped from the exercise.  I had a stress test less than a year ago and came out fine, no skips during or after.  Just looking for anyone who has had a similar symptom.
