Your Baby’s Firsts

Every Baby is Unique

Every Baby is Unique

Just as no two babies look alike, every baby develops on his or her own timeline. Try not to get stressed out if your baby isn’t reaching these milestones “soon enough”, even if his or her older sibling did things sooner. Babies are unique individuals that mature at their own pace and there is a wide range of what is considered normal. Still, you should trust your instincts. If you feel that something is not right, bring it up with your baby’s doctor. Your pediatrician can check for developmental delays.
