Dr. Craig Job, M.D. is a board certified physician, who specializes in blending traditional western medicine with "holistic" medicine.
Dr. Job believes in the individual, rather than the "one size fits all" approach to medicine. His personalized health programs help patients achieve optimum wellness, through a combination of nutrition, exercise, and attention to spiritual health.
Currently, Dr. Job practices family medicine at Westgate Family Physicians in San Jose, and is a resident consultant at Five Braches in San Jose. "My approach is grounded in sound medical practice, using evidence when available and guiding patients toward the safest and most efficacious therapies for them. My treatments are employed as adjuncts, not replacements to good modern medicine," said Dr. Job.
Born and raised in the Santa Clara Valley, Dr. Job became interested in holistic or “alternative” medicine as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley. At Georgetown University, he studied under various holistic practitioners, paving the way for residency at San Jose Medical Center. It was here, with the support and respect of his medical peers, he developed his “integrative” approach toward health and wellness. It's in this spirit that Dr. Job seeks to understand each patient in the context of their whole lifestyle- body, mind, and spirit.
Dr. Job's goal is to put control back into the patient's hands. Through workshops, classes and presentations, as well as individualized care, he helps people understand uses of natural remedies, mind-body techniques and a growing network of alternative health practitioners in the area (acupuncture, massage, hypnotherapy, energy work, spiritual therapy, and others).

There are not enough great things I can say about Dr. Job as my Primary Care Physician. During this time I have worked with Dr. Job on a wide variety of health issues as simple as needing antibiotics for cold/flu to as serious as a potentially life threatening disease. Through all of it I could count on Dr. Job for excellent care including honest straight forward answers, open minded interaction and all around excellent "bed side" manner. I don't believe anyone can say they look forward to going to the doctor however knowing I will be working with Dr. Job on whatever I need care for makes the trip to the doctor virtually painless."
