Acne on back and chest

I am 20, I have untreated acne on my back and chest for the past year now. I thought I would have grown out of it by now.
Should I see my doctor or is there a medicine I can buy over the counter.
Also where do I post a question about hair and grooming stuff like that, just wanted to know if rogaine would be good to enhance my facial hair, I already have some sideburns and moustache but wanted a nice full beard.
