Whitehead wont go away

I have had a whitehead appear off and on on my nose for the last few years. But over the last 8 months it has not gone away. I have very dry/sensitive skin but not really any acne other than this very obvious and annoying whitehead. How do I get rid of it? Do I need to see a dermatologist? Im not necessarily looking for some magic quick cure. I can be patient.

Ive been reading a little more and I may have misslabeled the bump. I think its actually a nodule. Its starting to really worry me now from doing all this reading so Im definately going to see a dermatologist. But Id like a to hear your opinion on what you think I should do.
