Accutane and Roots hairloss pill

by s23, May 11, 2007 12:00AM
I am taking Accutane and i feel that my hair is thinning. I was recommended to take "Roots" which is a hairloss/strengthening drug that is a daily vitamin supplement( i saw it has no vitamin E. Can I take this supplement weith my daily use of accutane?

I have been reading forums about hair loss due to Accutane treatments. I was on my second Accutane treatment, my first was two years ago. During this treatment I had a lot of hair loss. No one told me that this was a side effect. Needless to say, I quit my second treatment one month early. I have been off Accutane for one month, while using Rogaine. I have little hairs growing in all over, especially in the front where I had the most hair loss. I'm sure Rogaine has had little impact.

I wanted to let all the people know that you will get your hair back after using Accutane. It may take longer for some, but it will regrow! I had to get my hair cut differently to hide the thinnest part in the front and at the temples... but the little hairs are coming in!

Please tell others of the hair loss risk while taking Accutane and tell them it will regrow.
