Genital Acne?

by Unsure001, Feb 24, 2007 12:00AM
I am a female who suffers from adult acne and have had what I think are pimples on my outer labia.  I do not believe that I have any STD's.  I have been in a monogamous relationship for 12 years.  I did have unprotected sexual intercourse with one other person during this time about 9 years ago, and this person was also in a monogamous relationship.  These genital irritations certainly feel and look like pimples, and I am prone to breakouts all over my body.  I have very sensitive skin, recurrent UTI's, and am probably not diligent enough about keeping these issues in check.  I have only had a handful of these pimples on my genitals in all of these years and only one appears at a time.  They pop like zits and clear up within a few days.  I haven't had any other sexual problems and neither have my partners.  My main question is can this really just be genital acne or should I be worried about an STD after all of these years?  Thank you.

You may want to Google "sebaceous cysts" and see if that is what they are...
