cluster of small red, raised bumps on face

i have mild acne on my face which i have recently started taking dianette to help control. But in the last week i have developed a patch of dry skin on my face which it quite like a scab, but its made up of lots of small red raised bumps. I wondered if this has anything to do with taking dianette or if you may have some idea what it is?
in the last two days i have also developed another patch of this red area and so im worried that it may be spreading. ive tried apply moisturiser to it but it does not seem to be getting any better. could you please try and tell me what this could be
