If methadone is the way you choose to go I can tell you what normal protocol is.  No more than 40mg in the first 24 hours. If you are taking 4 percs a day I don't think you'll need that much. After 24 hours take 10mg at signs of physical w/d (ie. fever, nausea, vomiting, chills etc...) (you know what they are) but no more than 30 mg in 24 hours. Most meth detox programs only allow meth for 48 hours, but we both know you'll still have symptoms after that. taper taper taper. Are you sure you will be able to taper the methadone? It may be just as easy to taper the percs. Just don't have any leftovers laying around ( of either one) because you'll still want them.  Good luck!!!!!!!  Ask me if you need more help.

Most Doctors nowadays are brainwashed assholes.  They haven' been there and they haven't done that.  Some of them have and are still there, but the majority, really only care about money, and when they're gonna get paid that fat dollar.
