adderal is a mixture of dextroamphetamine and amphetamine. you
should expect a depresion and lethargy when stoping the use of
this drug. maybe some vitamin b complex would help.
Anybody willing to give me some inspiration or advice please email me at ***@****

welcome to the forum. we always have room for one more inside.
methadrine huh... way back in the 60's i went around the bend
with that stuff a few times. the crash is always real ugly for
me. witchy woman's advice about trying out NA sounds like a good
idea. Methamphetamine is not physically addictive so you won't
go thru any withdrawals. you will however go thru a real bad
depression and extream lethargy. Some b-complex vitamens will
help your neverious system. small doses of (valium 5-15 mg) will
help you thru any discomfort you have in the first week. i bet i
haven't touched crank in 25 years, but i do remember what the
crash was like.... i felt like a large pane of glass breaking!
SPEED IS FOR KIDS OR PEOPLE WITH TOO MUCH GOOD HEALTH AND FUTURE!

PS The people at the meetings have many answers for you and if you don't like what they have to say, you can go to a different meeting and get different input. Good Luck!

HELP ME
When you depend on a drug for as long as you have, your mind gets "imprinted". Anyway, that's what I believe happens. It's not like you can hit delete and start over again with a fresh screen. No, for many of us here it's been a long and arduous trek of seeking for answers. Fellowship and sharing play a big role in recovery. You might even try Narcotics Anonymous for starters. With time, love and an open mind you may be just fine!
I don't think you posted in the wrong place, by the way.

I think, and Im just thinking, you meant to say the withdrawels "shouldn't" be too hard :-) At least I HOPE thats what you meant :-)
But thanks so much for your response and Im going to give it 100%.
THANKS AGAIN

Would it be in bad taste to take a couple of Valium over the next couple of days, or should I just tough it out.
THANKS

Here's my tried-and-true do-it-yourself "cold turkey" detox protocol.
Supplies you'll need first:
As many Valium, Xanax, Librium or Klonopin as you can get your hands on.
--- first day off the opiate, use enough Valium or whatever, to, if possible, sleep through most of the first couple days. Then start decreasing the dose until you're down to nothing in about 5 or 6 days. You'll have to do the math. The Valium or one of its sister drugs will help tremendously with the anxiety
