tired of morning afters!

when i socially drink, i usually have maybe 4 or 5 beers, which gives me a buzz.  for "normal" people i guess it really doesn't affect them the following morning.  well, in my case, no matter how much i drink, i always throw up the next morning...could i be allergic to alcohol?

I doubt it, I'm sure if you were allergic you would have a bad reaction while drinking........ I don't know too much about it, but I really doubt it.  However, your stomach is highly sensitive to alcohol and unfortunately I don't think there is much you can do except try to eat more the day of, and drink a few glasses of water towards the end of the night, maybe even have a gatorade waiting in the frig at home along with 2 advil.......

My roomate from college had the same problem and found out that the cause was an ulcer.  I believe he eventually got some relief but not much.  Poor guy would take a shot of Yaeger, shot of Maalox, shot of Tequila, shot of Maalox, ect.....

when i first started experimenting with alcohol in high school,  i would throw up almost every time the night OF drinking. i just could not find my limit.  that probably should have been a sign to me that i couldn't do certain things in moderation.  i decided long ago that booze was not my thing...it wasn't worth the barfing and humiliation.  i have tried many things in my life, and altho there were signs all along the way that i had an addictive personality, i managed to not become hooked...until a couple years ago.  i guess i finally found the substance that made me feel the way i wanted to feel.  



i don't know what my point here is...i think i had one when i started typing, but i can't for the life of me remember what it was....haha....sad huh?  it's funny what we do to our bodies...when i first started smoking butts, i puked my brains out too - but, i was determined to be "cool" and kept with it until i got myself hooked.  if only i had such persistance and determination in other areas....who knows what i could have accomplished.

I have the same problem everytime that i too drink i puke. After many sad mornings i gave it alot of thought i realized that if i couldn't drink in moderation maybe i just shouldn't drink at all.
