Thanks for your insights, it has made me feel a little better. Karma is a mother jumper. All this time it was silly to think I would come out selling like a rose. I just pray I get a chance to live a healthy, normal life. I've been sober for 10 days, which is a miracle in itself, and oddly enough, I have nooooo desire to crack a tall can. How cheesey, my addiction was beer and it literally ruined my health, well, along with Trazadone, Lexapro, Dilantin, Lorazapam, Restoril. Wow, when I write it out, it's pretty ugly. I never took them excess, but I have needed something every single night for the past 4 years to go to sleep. I never increased the dosage, I thinkit became more of psychological addiction that if I didnt take it, I couldnt go to sleep. I could easily go 2-3 nights with just a couple hours sleep whe I would try not to take sleep meds. I still have major problems, but have cut out ALL meds since the news about my liver.
