Yes, it is normal. Each persons withdrawal can be a bit different. Day 7 nausea and diarrhea, take something OTC for it.
Remember it took time to become addicted, give your body time to become detoxed.
Be patient, wait it out, hang on tight for the curves, you'll be fine.
hang in there. Each day does get better. I held on to the fact that as long as I keep going I am no longer dependent on anything. Seven days for me and still have some withdrawl and was on pain meds for about a year. Figure body has every right to be frustrated with me. Don't give up. Yesterday could barely stand being in public...today made by self go grocery shopping. Life has to go on....give yourself time to do this. My husband and family are the best and have helped me greatly.
I am with you....
Sure does get better! I am living proof of that. Im past the 30 day mark now, after going cold turkey on Jan 3. The first week is terrible beyond discription, but the second week makes some improvements, and after that it is all downhill.
You start feeling a little bit better everyday, and your brain wakes up. Your emotions kinda go up and down, but that starts getting better everyday too. The tastes are out of this world! Skin sensitivity is really amazing! I can smell food cooking from 10 miles away LOL, and my stomach feels like the grand canyon, never really getting full. At least that is how it feels.
It all is worth it! Just remember you didnt get where you were in just a few days. It will take your body time to regenerate all the synapsis, and receptors.
During the first week I couldnt smoke, so I just stopped. Then at the end of the 2nd week I caught the flu from my grandkids. Man it was another 2 weeks of w/d's it seemed. I thought was never gonna feel better. But Im here to tell ya Im feelin sooooo good now, so much better than with drugs!
Dont give up! It all is worth it!
