Day 3 and counting

This was my forth visit to the addiction doctor and he said I am doing great and on day 5 I can start to taper down on all the meds he gave me so i would not feel the withdraws from the oxy. Let me tell you it works you do not have to suffer the w/d,go see a addictions doctor and if you live around Vancouver BC Canada I will help you go there myself. Anyway feel good and love everyone her and god bless  Rick

To answer your other question all info is kept private and now one knows. This is my first time getting mixed up with this oxy stuff and I am 46 years old. It took me allot of courage to call the doctor for help as I never needed help for anything in my life before. I was very embarrassed and this held me back from getting help sooner. If you can find a doctor they will help. He gave me 4 choices 1 c/t with meds 2 go on methadone program 3 in house detox 4 rapid detox by going under general anesthesia.  GOD BLESS EVERYONE  RICK

All health care is confidential. At least in the United States. I am an addiction specialist. MD's and tx centers have to keep all you do confidential is a federal regulation.

What is crazy my life's work has been working with Methadone clients and now inmates the system getting them tx. I who has helped 100s ended up on opiates.
The irony.

Get help if you need it....nobody should suffer and there is no right way to stop just whatever works.

What is he giving you to taper down with? My experience with tapering down or using other drugs was not successful. I still had to go through withdrawals in the end. They may have worked better than I thought though, because although I thought the withdrawals were terrible, I relapsed recently and am on day 1 detox going through them again. Only this time without any meds, and the withdrawals are worse! I am too scared to go to an addiction doctor. Is everything kept in secrecy? I would never want anyone to find out. I just want something that will help me get through this so I don't talk myself into going and buying some. I want that fix so bad, but I know it will only make things worse.
