Feeling like crap?

Hey,
I am withdrawling from oxy and have for the last 4-5 nights been taking a few hydrocodone. The worst is that I have been taking them from my g-ma. She takes them so sparingly and is old as well that she doesnt ever notice. But I still feel bad. I want to ween off them because otherwise the oxy w/d is HELL!!!!!!!! And that hell is what drives me to take them. Last night I took enough to actually get a buzz and not just take away my pain > That made me want to just punch myself! But my addiction is controlling me and I guess I could probably use a word of wisdom or two!

Remember, one step at a time. Would you consider rehab? or addiction DR? You have the will to do this which is part of the battle and you obviously know it is hell.  I used to steal Vikes/Percocets from my friends mother/my mother-in-law and when at others homes look in their medicine cabinets...seeing this in writing is sooo humiliating to me but it sure as hell is a wake-up call. Is there anyone in your life that you can turn to to help you with this?  We are here for you!

I have told my g-parents I am w/d from oxy so they think im getting clean. I've been kicked out of my moms who is broke anyhow. I have no insurance and my father has already paid $2,000 out of his own pocket for me to go through rehab, and he isnt that wealthy either. I feel horrible. But i cant afford rehab. I babysit for $50 a week. I tried suboxone but the dr. was literaly a pshyco so I just stopped taking them. My dad said he would pay the dr. bills and didnt so i already have credit collection after me for that and other stuff. I thought you HAD to go through rehab to get suboxone? DO YOU? It helped I just didnt ween off of it so it made me hurt.

I was on suboxen through rehab but im not sure if you do have to go through rehab for you dr. to perscribe it. But you do have to tapper off of it or you will withdrawal from it just like anyother painkill. I made that mistake the first time. It dose work if you use it in the way it was intended. HAHA isnt that funny taking pills the way they were intended. Good luck to you!

You don't have to go to rehab to get subuxone, but you may have to go to addiction specialist. That is where I got mine. He only gave me 12 to wean with. Going 4,3,2,1,1,1. 
That's 6 days worth. Main part of W/D is first 5 days. If you've got any ammount you can start with the appropriate number and wean with that. You have to have a positive out look though while trying, and I've seen you type here with a positive outlook.

Hi Relapse, your on a slippery slope be careful.
Again I have to commend dpilot for his or her words of wisdom....lol sorry to put you out there again D....

He mentioned one drug another is Subutox and you use it the same way.
It is a very good way to get off the withdrawls.

I stole my dads Fentanyl and morphine when he had cancer so I am not judging you by any means but if there is anything left that the addiction hasn't taken from your personality don't take any more of G-mas pills that even though she uses at her own way take care of yourself and read Dpilots reply, I think it is very good advice.
