Day 9 for me and I still feel bad!

Well friends:
It's day 9 for me after going cold turkey.  I took 480 mgs of oxy each day for two years.
I thought I would be feeling better by now.  I still have diahreah, at least the vomiting has stopped.  I can't sleep at night and nothing helps, I mean nothing.
And of course the pain is back in my legs and back which is what I started taking the oxy for.  So not only am I an addict, I'm back in that horrible pain.  And to be honest, I can't deal with that pain.  I go to the Dr. on Thurs. and see what he has to say.
   Have a great day everyone!

I feel really bad for you for two counts.
I blew my back out too and pain was terrible.
Getting off strong pain meds W/Ds are terrible.

Throw in depression and no sleep and your a mess.

I hope that the doctor can help you I had to be admitted for help, I failed on my own at home....

Thank you for your support.  I always thought I was a strong person.  I'm a little woman, about 5'3", 115 lbs. and years ago I could drink grown men under the table.  But I gave drinking up in 1996.  In 1997, I quit smoking after many, many attempts.  But this wd from the oxy is about to wipe me out.  And I'm starting to think I put myself thru this for nothing.  Because I'm beginning to think I'd rather be an addict, than in such pain.
Thanks again for your concern,
Yodes
