withdraws from percocet
i quit taking percocet 2 days ago, and when i sleep i wake up with the sudden feeling of like i am drowning, and i have severe anxiety, can you tell me what this is!

It is withdrawal and perfectly normal. We all experience similiar and sometimes a bit different symptoms. You won't sleep much for the first 4-5 days. If you have access (from your doc, not the street) to a benzo like xanax, valium etc.. this will help a ton. If you dont, try a couple of OTC Tylenol PMs. Hot baths help also. The anxiety is normal, fully. Good job so far, hang in there, it will get better.
