Of course he could sell them, do you know (or does he know) people that take vicodin? That sucks if he did that to you with out telling you!!! D oyou take them for pain (sorry I'm only asking cause a lot of people on here take them for pleasure myself included....started for pain, ended uo for pleasure) if you do have pain and take for legit reasons, I don't mean to be rude but he is a d*ck and you really need to talk to him. It's would be messed up for you to have to hide your medicine!!!
I don't know your situation but yes to all the questions you asked.
yes, i take them for pain, he is using street drugs. i posted earlier i was worried about him. and myself also, since he's been worse i was worried i've taken more than i should, so i was going to see my dr this afternoon to make sure i'm were i should be.
Sorry I didn't mean to come off harsh or rude, it's upsetting to me that you are in REAL PAIN and the person who loves you would take that from you for money... My advice is either (if you live together) hide your meds if your going to stay with him and keep a calendar marking each time you take anything and how many so you know for sure (sometimes we all forget what we've taken) or break up, if he is going to steal from you probably not a good place for you to be. Sorry I haven't see your other posts thats why i asked about your pain situation. Anyway please take care of you first and maybe you can even talk to your doctor about your concerns???
He is selling them or trading for his DOC.
I think that is so awful for someone (Anyone) to take your pain meds. I am so sorry you are in pain. I would be very honest with my doctor and tell him the story. He will surely give you more pain med. I would hide them and just tell b/f that the doctor cut you off. I hope you feel better.
Always,
M
sounds like the two of you need to have a little talk boundries and he crossing them. sound real selfish to not think about you and your real pain friends like him who needs enemies. I'm sorry but I got a problem with sticky finger you know. never could tolerate a petty theif tell him to keep out of your medicine if you have to hide them in your own house that really sucks I'm sorry for you but you will be ok maybe hes not the best boyfriend for you nobody should settle for that I know its easier said then done though good luck sister .
Dogs bark, fish swim, addicts lie and steal.
I stole pills from my neighbors, my friends, my in-laws, my mother, total strangers (I used to go to open houses on Sundays just for that reason) I even took my dog's hydrocodone that was prescribed by the vet when he had kennel cough (I remember thinking - "only 5mg each, by no acetaminophen - sorry boy, these are mine!" how sick is that?)
I'm not so sure he sold or traded them - hydro is very useful to someone smoking crack or meth. When you're on that stuff you get really afraid of crashing and you start jonesing really bad jsut before you crash - a few tabs really eases the transition from go-fast to such things as sleep, etc.
poor doggy I never knew they gave dogs vike next thing you know they'll have doggy detox. they have all these dog daycares and stores in the city. dogs are the new kids thanks for sharing that you said it in a funny way sorry boy these are mine.
LOL LOL i had no idea either that they gave those to dogs. I know this is not the point but I needed a smile and "sorry boy, these are mine" did it.
Now to you I say you have to confront the boy, tell him clean up or get out (or you get out/can't remember who lives with who but have a pretty good idea). CATUF's exactly right, an addict, myself included, will do whatever it takes to get at IT. Sometimes it doesn't even matter what IT is. I wish you all the best and hope your doctor is sympathetic to your problem. Get a lock box, hide it, and keep the key with you always. Thought of this b/c when I would tell my docs that my meds were lost/stolen, whatever, my next comment would be ..."ok, now Im going to get a lockbox" ...junkie self sad really
