Hi to all

Just wanted to wish everyone the best of luck today.  Hubby is doing pretty good.  Hasn't had any pain meds since 6 Thursday evening.  He even gave his ration for the day to someone who was in worse need them him yesterday while he was at work.  Much of these last few days of success has come from being a part of this forum.  Although, I am the one writing, he is either reading it with me here or I am reading it to him on the phone while he's at work.  He is at work today.  If anyone has read my past posts, he works in a place that is a virtual pharmacy.  Tempation and offers everywhere.  He is actually feeling alive for the first time in a long time.  I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers today.  Please do the same for my husband.

I applaud your support to your husband.  He sounds like he so deserves it though.  Ya'll are both doing so good.  I'm so proud of your husband (and u).  It takes so much to give up those pills and to not accept them from other people when they offer them.  It sounds like he really is going to make it.  You tell him that I'm AM SO PROUD OF HIM.  HE'S DOING AWESOME!!!  He can do it.  He sounds like he is very strong.  You two have a good restful nite... Take care and god bless, Lil.  :)

Thank you.  I just spoke with him.  He has been there almost 3 hours and said you would not believe how everyone is coming out of the woodwork offering him stuff.   So far, so good.  He feels stronger today than yesterday and knows if he continues, he will continue to feel better.  Fortunately, he can call me whenever tempation strikes.

My thoughts and prayers to your husband. That must take a lot of strength to be around pills all day and not use them. I couldn't do it!
