I took hydrocodone and i have to take UA, how long will it be in my system.

Of course it was from my doctor, but with a new job coming id like to know if I should stop taking it and just take IBU instead of risking employment from a dirty UA?

With my job they dont care where you get a DRUG from it still a DRUG. (which i dont think is very cool but ya know) I had these chest pains, took off from work and thats what my doctor gave me. When I told the job they said that if there is anything in my system prescription or not im fired. They said that if the UA thats sent to the lab say more than "None Detected" im gone. Thats why Im worried cause I dont know what to do or take to get it out my system except for time. Now I go back to work Moday evening straight to the lab to take a UA.

That has got to be one of the craziest things Ive ever heard. (not that I don't believe you..of course I do).  I just can't believe some employers would be like that.
