Dancing.

Question

Have any of you watched "Dancing With The Stars?" The reason I brought this up is because it can be related to the people on this forum. It is how much effort you put into whatever you are reaching for that gets you to the top. A lackadaisical effort will avail you nothing but a valiant effort will have you "Dancing With The Stars." I don't mean Hollywood stars, I mean the heavenly stars. You can only get out of it what you put into it. This is common knowledge. Just saying,"Oh Well,I'll give it a try" is not good enough. You have to grip it with all your might and hang on to it no matter what. There is not one of you out there that can take a back seat to anyone when it comes to wanting, but just wanting is not good enough. You have to be like a hungry leopard going after it's prey. If you want to eat, you have to give it that extra effort.

Wonderful post. I watch dancing w/ the stars every week. It just went off a little bit ago here. I like the way you compared it to successfully kicking drugs.

You're right.  It seems like my motto right now is:  "I'M UP TO HERE NOW!"  (day 3) and that's because there is a great big "dance" that we're all going to one day:  the one where we are clean, clean, clean.  It will be a dance that will require dress-up-really celebrate.  That's the day I'm going for.  Today was a crying day but I knew the only way through it was ALL the way through today-one day at a time.  Maybe I should start dancing practice.
