?? about cocaine how long does it stay in your system

I am an attorney. I am trying to find out info to help me with my client. She has used cocaine in the past and passed a urine but now they want a hair test. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long does it stay in you hair, for what I read it could be 25 yrs. My client is in danger of losing her children, she swears she no longer uses but, I feel it is not fair to punish someone who may have used in the past, and is now clean., Hopefully someone could refer me to a web site to help my collect some information on this subject so I can better prepare myself for this case. I'm a paralegal at CPS, the test we use will test as far back as 6 months

2-3 days with urinalysis...drink lots of liquids

oops, just read the title....never mind that. Not sure how long a hair follicle dates back to, but if she's used in the past few months she'll probably fail.
