Hey sweetie! How have you been doing? I'm sick as a dog! Horrid sinus infection and a headache that won't go away for the past 5 days (not due to the sinuses)

Anyhow, the estrogen and testosterone are hormones that your body naturally produces so if your body is not producing enough of them this can most definitely put quite a damper on your sex life. It can't hurt to see if they help. The doctor wants to watch for mood swings b/c testosterone can make you very aggressive and the estrogen can cause mood swings. Think of it this way: when you are pre-menstrual your hormone levels are in the hundreds, during pregnancy they are in the thousands!

And did you say the levitra and viagra were pescribed to you or hubby? Sorry, I just can't think very straight right now. Hubby is getting anti-biotics for me soon and gave me a couple of shots so I am really out of it.

Sorry to hear about your sinus.  I have bad sinus problem too.  It's funny if you haven't had problems w/your back or sinus it's hard to relate how awful it can be.  Hope you get well soon.  And of course as you know don't stop taking your anti when you start feeling better - finish the script.

You know whats funny is that the only real time I have a labido is right befor myn period and when I'm pregnant. This sounds like it could be the way for me or should I say fro my husband.  The viagra is for me.  I guess it doesn't help with labido but with sensivity during (which I don't realy need).

I guess I should get on a second forum.  

Do you have any idea how nice it is to finally have someone tell me not to stop taking my anti-biotics until they're all gone? I get to hear myself say it almost daily, it's comforting to hear it from someone else, thanks. And you're not kidding! Until you feel what having ALL of your sinuses infected, swollen, throbbing, and draining into your throat and lungs feels like, people seem to have no idea. The skull does not expand! So when the sinuses get infected and swell, there's not much extra room! And the plaement of the sinuses doesn't help, especially the ones right between the eyes! and on top of an already existing headache...ugh!

So yes your hormone levels are way up the few days before your period b/c you are ovulating then and that's the time you can become pregnant (isn't it nice how the body has its own little messenger service?) So the estrogen and the testosterone should help you feel more like you do prior to starting your period. And yes the viagra is basically going to increase bloodflow to the genital area.

Oh! and if moisture is ever a problem, ask your doctor for something with progesterone in it (suprised doc. didnt give you this anyway) birth control pills have both estrogen and progesterone, some pills have only progesterone (for nursing mothers etc.) b/c really all the progesterone does is increase the mucous around the cervix (making it harder for sperm to get through with birth control) but can really help lubrication, comfort, and help keep the balance of the vaginal canal. (I'm sure the guys are gonna love this post lol) lets just hope they skip it, and if not- it's a public forum-read at your own risk!

Lol!!!  After having five kids and going through detox and having my whole life exposed in court it seems as though nothing embarasses me anymore.  I hope the Dr. gave you some nose spray.  Some one I know flushes  her sinuses with saline.  Not just saline spray bit actualy flushes.  I tried it once and couldn't do it.
