What is in a Lortab 5

Question

Does Lortab 5 have codine in it? I am allergic and do not want to take it if there is any codine in it.

LOL, if that is my brain coming back, I am getting a little nervous. My wife is bringing home some amino acids and other stuff.

Lortab doesn't contain pure codeine....but it does contain a derivative of codeine (which is the hydrocodone in the pill).  Other than the hydrocodone, lortabs just contain aceteminophen (tylenol).  

I noticed myself that when I took Tylenol 3's after surgery last summer (which contain tylenol and pure codeine), I was very itchy, especially after several days of taking it.  I even eventually broke out into a rash.  The doctor told me I had an allergy to the codeine.  However, when I take lortab (which contains hydrocodone instead of pure codeine), I don't experience that same itching or rash.
