For Cinn and anyone else.
I just loved that Cinn posted Footprints...I have always loved that prayer from a very young age. After my father died (I was 11), that pray got me through a lot of rough times. So here it is...just in case anyone missed it before or needs to read it again.
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."
The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

okay i'm retarded and going through withdrawls at the same time i'm so sorry i was reading those posts by that one person and got one message mixed up wit h other ones from that person.

but this isn't an NA meeting. it's a forum. And what if I was offended by you trying to push NA on me like you said about someone else who wasn't pushing anything at all?
There are people who have nothing else to do I guess but post on boards and start trouble (even though the first thing you ever said was that you didn't want to start "drama") you obviously did want to because you have been nothing but rude.

If you are going to behave like you do, don't pretend to represent NA. You give the program a bad name and with an attitude like yours, those who may benefit from NA could decide to never go there because of how you act. But then again maybe that would make you feel good in a twisted way......to think you had that kind of power. NA is about attraction not promotion. You are doing neither by coming to a forum acting like you do.
Theres that fairy tale poem again. Why dont you guys get out of the hansel and gretal books and get into the NA book. lol
