drug tests

I am helping a friend that is trying to give up shabu. They last used the drug on the 30th May and about four weeks before that. the pattern of use is about once a month for two or three days. Recently (19th June) they had a positive drugs test and this has frightened them into giving up completely. How long will it be before they are clear from a positive drugs test? and what sort of symptoms should I expect to deal with during withdrawl? There are bad mood swings already. How long will that last?

Shabu is another term for crank, or crystal meth - crystalline hydrochloride.

I know one thing about withdrawels - I am a hydrocodene addict and when
i did not have anymore pills i ached - could not even sit still and
stomach cramps and more.
I know this from my doctor. 3-5 days is peak withdrawel and he does not know anyone who could handle it -

sorry - yes dr. has seen and he explained how difficult it is- he said options out there.
