Duchess Golden, Fladdict, LizzieLou,beach, Tink

okay , monday I start suboxone and Duchess how long would you recommend that I not take any pills before I start the suboxone but girls I'm starting my recovery again I am excited, the pills are drivin me crazy. I miss you girlz , my b/f broke up with me and I was dyin I love him but the pills made me a mad women, I want to get better, I decided to take it slow with the suboxone , detox slow , I think it will last three months then I'm goin to work on getting my drivers license and a car then , I;m goin to try to go back to college , maybe go into rehab stuff, I think thats what I was made for , I need to be in a field where I counsel people , help them , and Duchess I have another question , I have horrible PMS , I need help inn changing that , I am mean and say alot of stuff I regret later, what can I do to change this and what need your help with my emotions and maturity level, I let emotions rule me , I need to change so that my relatioships will get better , my son is seeing a psychologist, and I think I need the help and ladies I need your help , how do you guys handle your emotions?

The doc told me to be, "into" the withdrawals.  The second time I started the Sub, it was 18 hours and I had no problem with that. (80mgs of norco the day before)  hope this helps....fish

so you went 18 hours without anything then started your suboxone, so I need to be in withdrawal , I hate that becuz Sunday I have to work a double and its hard doin that without pills , withdrawal and waiting tables.... .. jesus  my appointment is at 1 30 on monday EST in Atlanta, I could take something Sunday morning then nothing on Monday morning , that would be a little over 24 hours. let me no what you think Keri

Good Luck with the suboxone. Ihope this works for you because I have seen you struggling and I know how hard this is! Make this your time Keri....take your life back!!!!!  I know your post wasn't to me but I just want to wish you success!

Thank you so much for the encouragement, I needed it, pills have been so hard to get off of. I was addicted to cocaine for about 7 years and thank god I got off of that but the pills , espeically since I have chronic back pain an hip pain , today my hip so bad I packed a ice bag at work and brought it with me to my appointment at 4 pm , it just aches I hate it I can stand pain, But thank you I appreicate you , oooxxx Keri

The good new is that it works great!  At least for me it did and I really haven't heard too many bad things about it other than you eventually have to come off of that... my first go with it was in detox and they had me try a small tester first and you should do the same... do 1/4 tab at first and see what happens in 30 or so minutes...2mgs or less....  I don't think you will have much problem at all especially when you see how well it actually works... I felt better than I did when I was on the hydros...weird I know but they weren't working any more at all really, unless you took umteen pills at a time.  You'll do just fine.  Please let us know???

read my post today 6/21 below about "first day on suboxone, withdrawling from H"  it has a lot of good info, from some excellent peeps.  don't make the same mistakes i did, you'll feel real bad.
