Wish I had a magic whatever for you, but . . . . .
Keep in mind that you're very early in this Recovery. You shouldn't expect to be back to "normal" yet or even soon. It really does take time and, as they say, "time takes time."
Try all the usual stuff - OTC pain med, hot shower, massage from husband, Ben Gay, etc. Some of this may well be caused by the cessation of use - 15 & 25 days out your brain is still adjusting to this "new" life style and it's feeling taxed in everything it does. Sleep patterns are off, pain thresholds are out of whack --- everything is still out of alignment.
PLUS, I alway found that every time I was making another quantum leap away from active addiction, that the Beast really seemed to dig it's claws in and really fight to maintain its position. It was like it was screaming that it refused to be pushed back any farther. I experienced that about every 4 to 6 weeks for just over a year - then the frequency started a steady decline.
Also keep in mind that waking up feeling like ****, with a sore neck and back is something that happens to "normal" people. It's just part of the human condition, not a sign from the Universe that YOU must have and cannot survive without opiates.
Praying for you..................
As far as the job...I always found it best to show up at work...let people see my distress...then, go back home. Folks at work see me as a real trooper, trying to get my work done dispite my ailment.
Good luck and keep in mind, recovery is a gradual process, not a sudden event. I've been down this road before. There are a lot of pleasant surprises as well as unexpected mysteries.
GEORGE
my guess is that our natural pain killer come and go while we start to get well, and that the reason i started taking pills (my back injury) was legitimate.
i see my chiropractor 3 times a week religiosly.
if i buy 12 sessions at a time its $30 a session.
it helps a lot.
have you tried the 800 mgs. of motrin, or something of the like yet? i hear alot of ppl posting that they are amazed that it really does help and they are surprised they didn't have to take a pain pill. your anxiety can make it worse too...so try and calm down and take some motrin or something and see if you feel better.
huggs,
