Announcing the Addiction Community Forum

by Med Help, Jul 02, 2007 12:00AM
Hi,

Based on a lot of user feedback, we're please to announce the Addiction Community forum located at http://www.medhelp.org/forums/show/88. (or you can navigate to it from the left hand Related forums link).

The intent of this forum is to give you a place to post general "chat" messages and interact with each other, while keeping the Addiction forum dedicated to questions around getting help with Addiction.

This model worked well for the Hepatitis community and we're hoping it's just as successful here. Please feel free to ask us any questions or send us comments. Thanks.

I for one would like to say a big THANK YOU to Harry and all the people that work so hard at trying to keep this forum focused on the everyday struggles of addiction. I am happy to hop over to another board if I feel the need to, although I find it much more convenient to use e-mail. I hope that other's will use this new addition, rather than flood this board with posts upon post that are of a personal nature. I have seen first hand people turn away because of this and am just so grateful that there is now another option and hope that it will be used. I'm sure that creating this was not only was a timely effort but a costly one, so again I truly hope it serves it's purpose.
I personally will be very pleased to see this forum once again helping not only myself, but all those in need help for whatever there going through because of the evils of addiction/chemical dependency.
Thank You Again,
Gypsygirl66
