I have been addicted to EpheDrine for about 15 years. I currently take 15 tablets each morning but have taken as many as 20. I am 5o years old and have high blood pressure. I went in for a check up a day ago and my  pressure checked at 220 over 102. I did not feel bad or have any affects to the ephedrine I could feel anyway. I want badly  to get off these but hate the feeling of tiredness when I do not take them. I take blood pressure meds and it ussually holds it at about 156 over 82. I know this is still to high and am facing a heart attack or stroke if I do not get my blood pressure down. Everything within me tells me to stop the ephedrine but I cant. Is there anything I can do or take to fix this problem?

Believe it or not, I took more of this stuff that you are at one time. I'd go through a bottle every couple of days (I'm talking the white scored pills, the strong stuff). I finally got tired of the headaches it gave me, sweats, and the feeling my heart was gonna jump out of my chest. To this day, I beleive it's the reason I have high BP. I'd suggest you stop these things, now. I can tell you what I went through stopping them. I slept...straight...for almost 4 days. That was the only WD symptom I had. It was easy quitting them, just prepared to sleep alot and feel lethargic for a few days. The good news is that I was back to normal within a week. My energy levels also leveled out. Please, stop these for awhile. You will not feel run down after a week or so.
