Great!  I am on day three from my detox of 20 or more Vicodin ES.  Feel crappy but if I remember from past detoxes today should be the worse one than each day gets a little better.

I slept good last night so I'n not so tired, I have no energy to do anything and I remember it takes time for the energy to come back.

No one in my family knows, they all think I am sick with the same virus my grandson had.  (I have custody of him and his sister...6 and 4 years old.)

I tried the methadone route several years ago and ended up worse on that.  After I detoxed of methadone I stayed clean off the pills for over two years.  I had shoulder surgery and got a script for vicodin.  That one little script was all I needed to head right back into the pill game.

Did you detox cold turkey?

I did cold turkey a little bit, i had Clonidine for withdrawals it helped, some what. i had valium for anxiety and promethazine for nausea and vomiting so pretty much yes i did it on my own, the worst only lasts about 7-10 days but its different for everyone id have to say. but i wish you the best just keep doing what your doing :) and take care of yourself!! i was taking about 7-10 Perocet 10mg a day, so i know how hard it is. Just keep up the good work your so close!!

congrats, 1 day at a time, its cunning baffling powerful and patient.

ive just done my first opiate detox, hardest thing ive ever done, 60+ days now and still not great but much better.

my stomach isnt right either?

being free of pills (after long term use) is something few people ever achieve in my opinion.

they are very very very hard to quit for so many reasons.

well done for following your heart and starying strong................
