I got arrested when I lived in North Carolina for forging prescriptions.  They called it "obtaining a controlled substanceDrug abuse by means of fraud."  I pled guilty to a lesser charge and got a year probation.

Now I am in trouble here in New York.  I went to three differant doctors and every ER on Long Island to get the pills.  The Department of Health faxed a letter to all my doctors with a list of all the prescriptions I got over the last six months.

The doctor showed me the letter on Thursday when I went to get more pills.  Of course he didn't give me any thus I began my detox.  I am not in any legal trouble that I know of but who knows what will become of this.

Chains like Longs and Walgreens can always see your history as all of their computers are connected. Judges are often very understanding (if it even gets to this point) and will often times order a rehab program which is what you want anyway so you can get the help you need.

Vicodin tuss, norco etc.). When you do bring a script to be filled the next time they will often just call the doctor to verify that the doc prescribed it that day in that amount. This is all they will do if they "hotlisted you" So you should try not to get too ahead of yourself just yet.

Hi fallen angel, In my opinion if you had just been "Dr shopping" I would say that if you took a legal prescription into one of the local pharmacies that you were "red flagged" at, that they would probably just call and verify the script. However, the fact that you committed fraud does make a huge difference on what they might do (how many times you had done it before will also). Once that pharmacist faxes that information it is more than a possibility that they could find out how many fraudulant scripts you have written. If you are not ready for that, I would highly suggest that you not go to a pharmacy any where near you area or a pharmacy that has any connections to the ones that you have used in the past. you may want to type in state prescription laws and learn about things like pdmp. in my state and many others it has nothing to do with using insur or what pharmecy you use,,its a state monitering system

Physical examination proof since you went into a phramacy with a fraudulant script. Dr shopping is also a form of fraud, but what I meant was if the PHARMACY suspected you of "Dr. shopping" and was just getting involved, No one else was involved i.e. Dr.'s hopitals, quick care, police...etc

I just read that and wanted to make sure no one mis understood what I was saying.
