Hey.  How are you today? I answered your post below about using Subutex.  I just wanted to give you an update.  I woke up at 6am, and after having taken 8 mg yesterday, I just took my first does of 2mg at 11:45am and I really don't think I should have but I have along car ride ahead of me this afternoon and I don't want to do it in front of those I'm in the car with, so ther eit is.
I am going to hold out for as long as I possibly can without taking another dose but if I do it will only be a 2mg slice.  If I can stay at 4 mg for a few days I think I can go down to 2 for a few and then jump off with possibly ony 1 or 2 days of mild discomfort.  My dr, who wants me to stay on it for at least 3 months to get my head "straight" said he would help me with any valium or clonidine if I needed it when I finally jumped off but Fladdict said hers lasted a day and she has chills nd sweats... i think I can handle that.... She wa son it for 10 days.  I wold like to be off by then.
It does continue to be a mental struggle with me, the whole taking something ritual, but I am continuing to fight that......
Post back and let us know how yo're doing!!

Hey sweetie, if you want to get off the sub quick, don't try to go long periods of time (like skip a day) and you might want to think about sticking to a more regimented taper. I understand about today and that's just what had to be done. Steph. only got the results she did because of the way she tapered. I'm worried about you setting yourself up for much more discomfort than what you need to go through, You might want to get together with her and work on a schedule that works for you. That's what I'm going to do when it's time for me to come off. She did so well and has done so much research. I actually get more and much better detailed answers from her about Sub then I do the Dr. that prescribes it to me.  You don't have to be on it as long as she was, but it's the way you taper that is important. I just want you to go through as little w/d's as little, just as I do myself. I hope I'm not sounding preachy here, I'm not trying to be , Just being a friend and am worried about you. Keep strong

I'm confused as to how to go about it.  Should I do like 8 for 3 days then 6 then 4 then 2 then nothing?  Right now I took 2 today...
What should I do??
ARGH!
