I went to the emergency room (several times in 3 1/2 years) and the nurse told me that I could be allergic to proteins in medications. I don't know if this is true or if there are proteins in medicines. Not sure if it can be cured or not just wanted to let you know what an emergency room nurse told me.

Mom may be hypersensitive to additives in meds or she is

having a cross-over allergy to a med she takes daily. I find it hard to believe she's alergic to all meds. What about aspirin

or OTC meds. Some people get swelling from botanical hand

lotions since it gets in skin & can also react w/ sun. I'm allergic to 'red dye 40' in Benadryl/Jello/Tylenol gelcaps.

Need to play Sherlock.
