My dad used to get these and he was told that they are cholesterol deposits. Although they mainly occurred near his eyes, he would get them in other places on his face as well. I would go to the doc to confirm this. I don't think they treated him for it as it was not dangerous, and that was back in the seventies. They may be able to do something for these now.
