Sinus and mold?

by crystal11262, Aug 04, 2006 12:00AM
Moved 88-year-old mother out of old house that had mold issues last week to a NEW house.  We were hoping to see a decrease in her allergy symptoms, but she still has the same runny nose.  The new house is NEW.  I realize that could cause problems.  I made an appointment with an allergist, but was wondering about the possibility of mold actually existing in her sinus cavities??  Anyway, would an allergist by the appropriate doctor to see, or maybe an ear/nose/throat?  She has been taking Zyrtec, but still has a very runny nose.  Appreciate any input/suggestions/comments....
