Rabies, pre-exposure vaccine, post exposure treatment, or no treatment results

by Maroto, Aug 17, 2006 12:00AM
I am recieving Pre-exposure Rabies vaccine. 3 questions.

1) what is post exposure treatment, and is there time limitations

2) if post exposure treatment is NOT possible, what are the results?

3) the shots schedule is 1st shot, 2nd shot 9 days later, 3rd shot 16 days after 1st shot. Is this a problem, as CDC lists 2nd shot 7 days later, and 3rd shot 21 or 28 days later?
