Eye Problems

by ladylou, Aug 26, 2006 12:00AM
I have terrible dry eyes. At night when I sleep my eyelids stick

together and when I arise I have to take my fingers and open my lids. My Doctors , three of them, all have had me on eye drops i.e. Refresh Tears, jel and some others. Also, he has me putting warm compacts on my eyes.

Elestat this the last prescriptive drops my recent Doctor prescried. After ckecking these out on internet I found these drops were only for itchie eyes, which I do not have.

My Doctor did an extinsive test and also found that I have alergy pockets under the lids.

If anyone has any advise or suggestions please respond.

Thak you!

Hi, just one more thought. Have you tried Omega-3 supplements (like Fish Oil)? There is some evidence that they help with dry eyes. Also have you tried the Restasis eye drops. I don't think they work for most people, but sometimes they do. They are a perscription.
