Fluid in eyes, after I awake

by xcuzmepleez, Dec 26, 2006 12:00AM
After I awake from a nights sleep or a nap, I find the fluid in my eyes becomes very, very thick. It also effects my nose whereas the inside becomes very dry and crusty feeling and my throat feels as though there is thick phlem and it needs to be cleared.

Regardless of where I sleep, in bed, sofa or a soft chair, (different fabrics/material) or even someone else's place, same thing happens. At first I thought it may be some type of allery but all the allergies that I've read about produce a runny fluid.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like dehydration to me... have you tried drinking water before bed and seeing whether that helps?

Thank you for the quick response.

I drink plenty of fluids daily. My daily consumption of water alone is over 50 oz. plus, I carry a water bottle wherever I go. I believe I may have some form of allery.
