allergy with itch

by saltydog143, Mar 21, 2006 12:00AM
I have developed acne (I'm 41 years old) and it itches very badly.  My skin is also very aggrevated.  I'm not sure if it is a bacterial problem, because of the itch?  The rash (that's what I call it) is only on my face.  I have hundreds of bumps, some white, some cysts.  This is very new to me, please help!!  Thank you!

is it just your face?  maybe you should see a dermatologist.  I would think that if something is surfacing on your skin like that it may be systemic???  good luck

Considering your age its probably not acne and is rosacea.  Rosacea can also have tiny bumps that look like pimples w/o a head and pop up on your face.  You should consider seeing a dermatologist.
