Hi,

If you have pressure behind your eye, it sounds like it could be a migraine. If this is the case, then I would talk to your physician about prescribing a migraine medication and seeing if that takes care of your headaches.

Welcome to the board. To overcome the heachache do the following  breathing everyday and please come back to say when the headache has cleared.

- Deep Breath-in through left nostril keeping right nostril closed

then  - Breath-out through right nostril keeping left nostril closed

then   -Deep Breath-in through right nostril keeping left nostril closed

then   - Breath-out through left nostril keeping right nostril closed

and repeat this cycle for upto 15 minutes. Maximum 3 times day.

That sounds like a good exercise for anyone !! Where did you learn that ?

by hava, Jan 28, 2007 12:00AM
I learned Yoga pranayam(breathing exercises) from Ramdev who has simplified the breathing techniques so all the people can do it.

--

I forgot to mention to drink some water before doing the breathing.

--

The headache which is not very severe, should clear within a week and the daily breathing should be maintained for the rest of life.
