I'm having major skin irritation, very itchy! Can't find out why or how to stop it!

Ok, long story as short as possible.

I grew up with allergies, but never had them this bad.

I have been getting large dime sized bumps all over my body, they look like mosquito bites. I have no idea what hives look like, but maybe that's what they are?

The major irritations come at various time on my legs, arms, chest, back and itch HORRIBLY. The mosquito bites look huge and usually there are like 5 of them. I tried using anti itch lotions and it doesnt help at all.

At first I thought it was bed bugs but Im 100% sure it's not. My fiance lives with me and she hasnt experienced anything at all.

**But this started when they began working on my roof! I wonder if that has something to do with it. At first I only got it at home, but now Im getting really itchy at work. Could it be invisible particles on my clothes from the roof? How can I stop this?

I need help bad, this is really really annoying and I cant sleep!!

PS: I also tried taking allergy medications and it didnt work. My respitory is fine.

Have you changed laundry detergents or soaps recently ?

I would google the word, "hives" and click on "images" and see the pictures. Do you have health insurance ? If so, call your physician and maybe he/she can prescribe a topical steriod cream that will help. In the meantime, you may want to try baking soda... it can help w/ the itch.

Good luck !
