Cashew Allgery?

by drewk, Feb 25, 2007 12:00AM
It looks like my 3 year old daughter may have a cashew allergy and I was wondering if someone could help with with some questions:
1.  Is is possible for her to be allergic to cashews even though she has not problem with other tree nuts (almonds, pine nuts, walnuts etc.) or nuts like peanuts?
2.  What common foods have cashews in them?

I have an allergy to cashews. I am able to eat regular peanuts, but walnuts give me an itchy rash too. I'm not sure if this is true to everyone, though.  best wishes to you.
