Lips and sensitivity

by Barbaralhe, Apr 21, 2006 12:00AM
My lips feel like they have electricity running through them.  Also from time to time feels like something is excreting out of them.  They swell and hurt a lot and this happened about 3 months after some dental work.

I have the same reaction to oral surgery of the tongue.  The small bump I had removed was so much easier to put up with than the oversensitivity of my tongue and lips.  Sorry it is of no help but I believe it does have to do with some types of dental work as well.

This is the sign of an allergy.  If it is a true food allergy you would have some GI symptoms as well.  It can also be an allergic reactin to drugs and some supplements.
