Was This An Allergic Reaction?

Brief history: I have been having strange symptoms since November, which suggest a probability of Lyme Disease, but I don't know for certain yet (I only tested positive for 3 bands on the Western Blot).
Yesterday I put on my new self tanner at 1pm. At 5pm, my tongue and roof of my mouth were tingly and the back of my mouth was burning. I started getting a little short of breath. I’m not sure if that was from getting scared, or a side effect.
I took a Benadryl just in case, which made me fall asleep.
When I woke up and I felt some burning on the roof of my mouth.
These are things that I have never dealt with prior to Lyme, so I’m confused.
What does it sound like to you?
