Vitamins for anxiety

I am coming off oxcontin and a few wekks back I weaned of Paxil because I was having adverse effects, anyway's, I know a great deal of my anxiety is due to the oxy's but Ive heard that magnesium can be good in treating anxiety. I've been taking 500mg magnesium, calcium w/vit.D, Vit.c, and b-complex. Do you think this would help ease anxiety.......

I'm taking the same thing!!  I take a timed-release 75mg b-complex, a timed-release 1000mg vit-c and a calcium/magnesium 1000/500mg.  I haven't noticed a HUGE decrease in my anxiety.  But I've been pretty sick lately; stomache bug, then allergies and now bronchitis.  My anxiety came on suddenly "without" reason and is sticking around.  I had hoped that the vitamins would help....not sure yet though.

I tried magnesium years ago....I hate to say, it didn't help, but I have heard that it is suppose to ....just watch your dosage....don't overdo it...you can get sick.
