nausea, vomiting, and rapid heartbeat

by bil3112, Mar 30, 2007 12:00AM
Every time I have a chance to be in a healthy relationship i have a phase my body always goes through.  For exmaple, when I make plans with my new girlfriend, and I'm ready to leave to go to her house, I always get a nausea feeling and nearly vomit.  When I meet up with her the first thrity minutes I usually sweat bad as well as have a nausea feeling accompanied with my heart beating fast.  This has also affected me when I go to bed at night.  I always dread the fact that my body goes through this everytime I 'm with her and it usually causes me to wake up early in the morning with a rapid heartbeat and nausea feeling.  This week just thinking about it I actually vomited a little bit of blood, and I haven't been able to hold any solid food down for a few days, and the smell of solid food makes me nausious.  I've seen a doctor about this and she prescribed me promethazine for the nausea and xanex 25mg for me to take at night.  If anyone has experienced and overcome this behavior or if you might be able to diagnose what exactly I need to do you have my blessing.
Thanks

I understand.....I get that every single morning of my life...sometimes it will subside, but most mornings, for the first hour, I have nausea.  Sometimes I still get the rapid heart beat and the dry heaves, but not like I used to.

Also, whenever I have to go somewhere, (a party, a get together, even my sister's house!) I get that feeling until I am where I have to be and settled in.  I guess I just have gotten used to it for the most part.

However, it was very bad at one time and that is when my doctor prescribed Buspar...this helps with anxiety and is taken every day...I use it in conjuction with Paxil and anti-depressant, and it has helped tremendously.

I know how horrible you feel right now.  I have felt that way, and for the past 2 weeks I feel I am going through a "bad time" with my anxiety....I just do  a lot of self-talk and tell myself, "this too, shall pass.."

Im glad you posted this, I thought my morning nausea was due to a tumor in my brain.

Every day I wake up worried (I have dreams of me dieing from various diseases) and check my body to see if im still alive. I get showerd, get dressed, leave my house, then I start getting sick. Its been happening for months now, ive been pretty depressed too. I think its due to me worry about my day and doing my daily activities.
