Does SSRI's make you exhausted and drowsy?

by gj77, Apr 11, 2007 12:00AM
Hi. I've been on SSRI's like zoloft and Effexor and I've experinced severe exhaustion when i get up in the mornings and durign the day. Is this a common problem? I have had to shift to tryclics due to this. Anyone having these symptoms?
Wondering whether its to do with the brand of the drug. I'm in sri lanka which is a third word country and we get our meds from India. By the way any Sri Lankans out there?

SSRI's can cause exhaustion for some. Others experience insomnia like me.
