Klonopin/other meds

Any reason I shouldn't take Klonopin and Prevacid at the same time?  It would be much more convenient if I could take them together in the morning.

This is a question to ask your phamacist who specalizes in drug interactions.  A quick call, and you will have your answer.

There are no interactions between Klonopin and Prevacid (or other proton pump inhibitors).

Histamine 2 antagonists (ie: Tagamet), should be avoided, as they increase plasma levels of most Benzodiazepines. Ativan (Lorazepam) is the only exception.

if you ever have questions like this there is a website that is called drugs.com that will give you info, identify pills and also have a drug interaction part where you can enter all of your meds and it will tell you their interactions.. hope this helps =-)

Yeah, I knew there were no real interactions, but I was wondering if taking them both at the same time would decrease the efficacy of one or the other.
