And another thing....

by Soonerdean, May 19, 2007 12:00AM
I can't believe I let things like this bother me but is anyone else REALLY MAD about gas prices?  I'm not joking...it is causing me sleepless nights which is making my cronic pain and anxiety worse.  What really makes me mad is there is ABSOLUTELY nothing I can do to control the price of fuel.  I would love to have 5 minutes alone with the "person" causing this price gouging.

What is also contributing to my problem is I do not hear any elected officla wanting to come to our rescue.  A common person like myself would not know where to begin...if I did I would take up the cause.

This may sound strange...but every penny that gas goes up causes my anxiety to worsen.  What if I can't pay my doctor...what if I cant afford my meds...crazy stuff like that.  Oh well....I feel a little better now that I got that off my chest.

I know this is not a political chat room but this issue is causing me a medical condition so I figured it was relavant...sp?

I had an email that we weren't supposed to go to the pump on May 15, but I forgot to forward it to people I know.  I didn't go that day, but, really, if we all did not go to the pump just one day, that would raise some eyebrows!

Best.......

That is exactly a method I use in determining what's really bothering me  - anxiety or a real physical problem.  I think it's a very good method as if someone were really having a heart attack, something like a social function would not change that.  I'm glad that I share this method with someone else!

Best to you......

Yes but still i am worried about my legs ache its like I been doing excercise and my muscles or bones hurt is this normal?

That is a very frequent ailment I have and I do have some lower back problems.  I think the muscles ache because with anxiety we are always clenching - jaws, muscles, bones, etc. That's what I've come to think anyway.

My 10 year old has a bit of anxiety and she clenches - her mouth, her throat, and maybe her muscles for all I know.  It's just a "normal" side effect of anxiety, I believe.

Hope that helps.  Best to you........
